This photo is from Rattlesnake Canyon which is close to the famous Antelope Canyon, but it's not as well known and definitely visited far less because it's a private canyon where only a couple of companies have permits to bring people in. These canyons are on Navajo land and you can't go into any of the areas without a Navajo guide. Upper Antelope Canyon was absolutely incredible and it's hard to describe its beauty, but it's also more congested even though the guides do a good job controlling people coming into your shots. I have a new appreciation for amazing photos in that canyon because of the various levels of difficulty involved in getting them.
Rattlesnake Canyon was like heaven though because Stephen and I were the only 2 people in there and we had all the time we wanted in order to set up our tripods and make our way through it.
