Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Sometimes, no matter what camera you're carrying around, the iPhone photo wins the shot. It was cold and windy with blowing rain and I couldn't keep rain drops off of my good camera's lens, so I pulled out the trusty iPhone and it gave me the almost perfect shot I was after in these conditions.
