Years ago I discovered this old pet cemetery in Salida CO. Even though I know there are many around it's the only pet cemetery I've ever come across, and now when I'm in Salida I try to make it a point to stop in. I barely made it there before sunset on this particular day, and this photo where this cross in the back was lit up by some of the last rays of the day is my favorite of the group of photos I took.
